Serenity Blyss is a traditional artist whose work explores the deep kinship of women, nature, and magic. Born in 2002 in Florence, Oregon, Serenity grew up with a profound curiosity for the natural world and an unwavering passion for the freedoms of women. She believes that magic is found in the noticing of everyday, overlooked beauty. Through her paintings, Serenity captures these findings and translates them into visual expressions of whimsy and wonder.

Inspired by the stories of women, both past and present, Serenity approaches her work with a fantastical lens, infusing each piece with a sense of storytelling and ethereal charm. She draws guidance from esoteric tools such as tarot and astrology, incorporating their symbolism into her art, while also paying homage to the design motifs of the Art Nouveau movement. At the heart of her work is a deep gratitude for the natural world and the quiet, everyday magic that it offers.

She is currently working on 'The Tarot of Serenity' - a hand illustrated deck while running Print & Prose Club, a monthly snail mail subscription that highlights the beauty of physical media through art and written word. She hopes to share her work in thoughtful, tender ways that inspire our own sense of self, belonging and power.

A traditional painter at her core, Serenity began her artistic journey with oils and has since expanded into gouache, continuing to refine her technique. She prides herself on the humanness of her work, embracing the imperfections and unique qualities that come from her hand on canvas. It is this very "imperfection" that adds charm to each piece, reflecting the raw beauty of womanhood.
