Welcome to the world of Serenity Blyss

I’m Serenity, a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller creating a little world of my own through painting, sculpture, illustration, and words.

My work lives somewhere between fairytale and reality: a place filled with mythology, femininity, strange little creatures, nostalgia, and the gentle magic of ordinary life.

I’ve always wanted to make art that feels like discovering a secret door... something that invites you to step inside and stay awhile.

The Artist

I’m a self-taught artist drawn to stories, symbolism, beautiful little details, and the feeling of being completely absorbed in an imaginary world. I work across several mediums, moving between gouache and oil painting, clay sculpture, illustration, and writing depending on what a story asks for.

That’s really what Serenity Blyss is about: building a world through art, one little piece at a time.

Painting & Illustration

Painting is where this world began.

I work primarily in gouache and oil, creating feminine, fantastical figures and scenes inspired by mythology, fairytales, nature, nostalgia, and the emotional worlds we carry inside ourselves.

I’m interested in making paintings that feel like fragments of a larger story, as though you’ve discovered one page of a book that continues somewhere beyond the frame.

The Tarot Deck

Each of the 78 cards is being created by hand, slowly becoming part of the larger mythology of this world.

The deck is both a painting project and a storytelling project. A way of exploring archetypes, symbolism, intuition, and the duality of women.

Blyss Babies

And then there are the Blyss Babies! My original, one of a kind dolls. Hand-sculpted, hand-painted little inhabitants of the world I’m building.

Each one begins as a lump of clay and slowly develops her own personality, clothes, story, and little collection of treasures.

I love making them because they let me take the things I imagine in paintings and give them a physical little life.

Print & Prose

Print & Prose is where the world leaves the canvas and enters the mail.

Each edition is inspired by one of my paintings and becomes a little collection of things you can actually hold; art, paper, stories, and tiny pieces of the world.

Every edition is its own little chapter, so you can step into the story wherever you find it.

Magic is a matter of Noticing

Most of the magic is actually very ordinary which is what makes it so special. I spend hours admiring, wondering, trying to figure out how to translate glimmers of inspiration into physical pieces. I have paint on my hands, fabric spread across my desk and a million ideas searching for a home... and I love it, because it isn't just art, it's building a creative life and allowing it to find yours.
